CONNECTION & INTUITION

Supporting Humans Birthing Humans

Raised in a family that always nurtured birth and the human body’s miraculous capabilities, I was drawn to supporting humans bearing humans from a young age. As a single mother in my 20s, I further deepened my connection with the birthing process, which reinforced my belief in our bodies’ inherent strength and resilience. This personal experience, combined with my professional expertise, allows me to bring calmness and intuition into every birthing space.

Whether it’s your first pregnancy or you’re welcoming another child, whether at a birthing center, hospital, or your own home, my commitment is to cultivate a birth team that is right for you. My goal is to advocate for you and provide self-empowered choices while ensuring a secure, nurturing environment for you to discover your unique journey to meeting your baby.

I believe birth is an opportunity for connection, bonding and growth within ourselves and within this transformative time for your growing family.

As far back as I can remember, attending a birth with family or friends was just where I wanted to be. Over the years, and with many babies, my love for birth and the human body has grown into the honor to support humans bearing humans. Through my own birth story as a single mom in my 20’s, I continue to be anchored in the knowing that our bodies would support us. I am able to bring this calmness and ethos into every birth room. Using my strong intuition, I am able to tap into when a family needs space or when a family needs support. I implement physical and comfort measures, provide informational support about options and procedures, emotionally support you and your family's needs and promise to honor your physiological experience.

I have had the pleasure in assisting first-time pregnancies, as well as second child births. I have worked at birthing centers and hospitals, in private homes and via Zoom. I am committed to cultivating an excellent rapport with nurses, midwives and OBGYNs, so we can build a team of support and advocate for you in a calm, clear and collective manner. With this, I hope to guide you and your family to make self-empowered choices, while providing a secure and solid foundation for you to discover your own birthing journey/birth vision.

I hold a degree in Nutrition from Bastyr University and enjoy nurturing my family through food. I am an inquisitive human and natural maker and have been asking questions and creating since childhood, and am currently interested in the coexistence of internal and external wellbeing, herb medicines and social justice for all marginalized humans. I live with in Bend and spend time fly fishing, roaming the forest and rock hounding.

Jaime is one of the most skilled, grounding, and intuitive birth workers I have had the privilege to work with both personally and professionally. She was so supportive of myself throughout prenatal visits, during my labor, my unplanned cesarean, and postpartum. My partner felt her presence was invaluable to his participation in our welcoming our child earth side. Thank you, Jaime!
